The 2013 series of MasterChef may have just finished last Sunday with Emma Dean been announced the Winner of the MasterChef 2013 but they have just opened the applications for MasterChef 2014.
The 32-year-old Emma Dean from Victoria went up against Lynton Tapp and Samira El Khafir in the finale but was awarded the title with a total score of 85 points, just ahead of runner-up Lynton on 81. Emma beats Lynton to be crowned the fifth MasterChef champion, taking home $100,000, an Alfa Romeo and scoring a cook book publishing deal.
MasterChef All Stars, with our favorite contestants from the first three series Julie Goodwin, Poh-Ling Yeow, Chris Badenoch, Callum Hann and Justine Schofield, is still on air, but Australian food lovers are ready for the new culinary battle to begin.
