Crave Sydney International Food Festival, presented by Citibank, will be held in Sydney from October 1-31, 2011.
Every Food Festival held in Sydney is a celebration of good food and wine, it’s a fabulous opportunity for all food lovers to experience the excitement of multiple offerings through diverse food and cultural experiences, enjoy different cuisines, to see your favourite chefs from MasterChef TV series live, meet new people sharing the same passion for food and good life.
All Sydneysiders and tourists are mostly welcomed to the third Crave Sydney International Food Festival 2011 - a month-long celebration of extraordinary food experiences.
This fabulous Food festival offers you hundreds of ways to experience the best in food from Sydney and regional NSW.
Crave Sydney International Food Festival that will be held throughout October will be celebrating the best of local and international cuisine. This year the Food and Wine Festival will focus on the sizzling South American food.
The Food Festival will be held at several venues in and around the Sydney CBD, Sydney Harbour and surrounding suburbs, featuring food-themed events and celebrating Sydney’s love of food.
The festival offers something to everyone: from large scale food events, intimate dinners with world famous chefs, authentic food experiences and family fun activities.
The month-long event will comprise of master classes, tours, markets, community picnics, barbecues and fine dining. The Crave Sydney International Food Festival will feature signature events including:
• Barbecue Madness launch weekend
• World Chef Showcase
• Night Noodle Markets
• Breakfast on the Bridge and
• Sydney Harbour Island Hopping

This year, World Chef Showcase will bring more than 20 star chefs and food personalities to Sydney. Peter Gilmore (Quay), Matt Moran (Aria), Gaston Acurio, Neil Perry, Jill Norman, Adraino Zumbo, Alex Atala, Luke Nguyen (Red Lantern), Martin Benn (Sepia), Mark Best(Marque), Tony Bilson (Bilsons), David Tanis, Andrea Petrini – these are only few names of the top international chefs and the most culinary talents on the planet that will participate at the Crave this year.
