Greg Page, the original Yellow Wiggle, is back
I have exciting news for all The Wiggles lovers, small and big, the original Yellow Wiggle, Greg Page, has reunited with the world-famous children’s entertainment group.
Sam Moran, who has been the Yellow Wiggle for the past five years, stepped aside and looking to new opportunities and to spent more time with his wife and two- year-old daughter.
Greg Page, a founding member of The Wiggles in 1991, after 16 years in the yellow skivvy, was forced to quit the much-loved internationally successful children’s goop the Wiggles five years ago due to illness. He he was suffering from a rare medical condition - orthostatic intolerance, which left him disoriented whenever he stood upright. Sam Moran stepped in and took over as the Yellow Wiggle.
Greg Page returns to perform alongside with long-time friends Anthony Field, Murray Cook and Jeff Fatt. He starts working on new Wiggles productions including CD, DVD and television content. He will be a leading singer and an integral part during the local and international tours that will kick off with Australia in March and later this year in UK and USA.
Despite Greg’s absence for the past five years his fans here in Australia and worldwide did not forget him, they remember and love him with all their hearts. So his return is excellent news for everyone who loves good music, laughter and enjoys having fun.
Roll up all the Wiggles fans, your favorite band is coming stronger and better with it’s old and new children’s songs and tunes!
Thank you Sam and welcome back Greg!
