Healthy breakfast recipes are among my favourite. Healthy breakfast is the body’s fuel, it should be easy to prepare, good quality and filling.
My fruity yoghurt recipe will be enjoyed not only by kids but also by adults.
Fruity Breakfast Mix
Serves 2
- ¾ cup of good quality supermarket frozen raspberries (fresh if in season)
- ½ cup canned peaches in juice
- ½ cup of your favourite muesli
- ½ cup of low-fat vanilla or fruit-flavoured yoghurt (adults love natural yoghurt in this easy recipe)
Fill 2 glasses with layers of fruit, muesli and yoghurt. Finish with muesli on top.
You can make this easy breakfast recipe the night before, just keep refrigerated until ready to serve for your hungry family.
p.s. For variety you can also make this breakfast recipe with nectarines, peaches or chopped bananas or citrus fruits.
